04 / How we work

From brief to dispatch.

What happens, in what order, and what we commit to at each step.

The process

01
Brief. Category, destination market, volume, timeframe and duty route. Approximate is fine at first contact. We will tell you quickly whether it is a fit rather than spending your time on a quote that was never going to work.
02
Offer. A firm quote within 24 business hours of a complete brief. Every offer states product, origin, quantity, ex-works price, duty status, which warehouse it sits in, and terms. No offer arrives with a piece missing.
03
Verification. We check your excise authorisation before anything is committed. It takes us a minute and it prevents the failure that is expensive to unwind afterwards.
04
Confirmation. Proforma, payment or agreed terms, and the movement is booked.
05
Dispatch. Documentation completed on our side. You receive the paperwork you need for your own customs filing and your accounting, without asking twice.

What we commit to

  • One named person from first enquiry through to dispatch. Not a queue and not a handover halfway
  • A quote within a stated window, or a call telling you why not
  • Every offer complete, with duty status and logistics position stated up front
  • A price we can hold for a stated period, not a number that has already gone
  • A straight no when we cannot place something, quickly, rather than a list held in silence

We are not a large company. That is why the person who answers your call can commit price, quantity and date on that call rather than going away to check.

What we ask from you

  • The destination market, precisely enough to establish the duty position
  • Your excise authorisation details, so we can verify before rather than after
  • Realistic volume at first contact. Both of us lose time on a quote pitched at the wrong scale
  • A decision inside the quote validity, or a call to say you need longer

When a parcel will not repeat

Some of what we place is finite. We say so at the point of quoting, not afterwards.

If you need a line that restocks every month, we will tell you which of our mechanisms delivers that and which does not. A cheap parcel that leaves you unable to restock a listing is not a good deal and we do not want to be the supplier who sold it to you.

Tell us the market. We'll tell you what moves.
